Some of the free food and samples from the emails I received this week from Freesamples.org. NOTE: Be aware that some free offers get canceled by the company after receiving a maximum number of responses, so act fast if you see something you want. Also, I found one or two links that went to a website but had no free samples that I could find. Also, one link was flagged by my anti-virus as being unsafe. If this happens to you, Do NOT proceed to the site! Your anti-virus is there for a reason. (If you Don’t have an anti-virus installed, Get One! Otherwise, you are cruising the internet highway without a seatbelt. )

Before you get started, as always, a word about online safety:

Most of the offers listed have the option to opt-in to receive information from the host company. You do not have to sign up in order to receive the free samples, but you are welcome to do so if the company is one you are interested in receiving deals from. At any time, if you change your mind about receiving such emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of emails.

If you have only one email address, you may want to consider getting a separate address, just for such offers. That way, advertisement emails won’t be cluttering up your regular email box. You can sign up for a free email address on sites like Yahoo and Gmail.

Of course, it goes without saying that you should never give out sensitive information, such as credit card or social security numbers, either in an email or an online form.
