There are a number of websites that offer information on where to get free product samples and discount coupons. As I research these, I’ll share my notes on here. If you have a website you use, be sure to let us know so we can share that information in future posts!

The website I researched today is:  FreeSamples.org

Well-organized list of samples and coupons, divided into categories.  Sign up to be notified of special freebies just for subscribers.

Before you get started, a word about online safety:

Most of the offers listed have the option to opt-in to receive information from the host company. You do not have to sign up in order to receive the free samples, but you are welcome to do so if the company is one you are interested in receiving deals from. At any time, if you change your mind about receiving such emails, you can unsubscribe by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of emails.

If you have only one email address, you may want to consider getting a separate address, just for such offers. That way, advertisement emails won’t be cluttering up your regular email box. You can sign up for a free email address on sites like Yahoo and Gmail.

Of course, it goes without saying that you should never give out sensitive information, such as credit card or social security numbers, either in an email or an online form.
