Gardens in Arizona – Summer is a Great time to visit!

Gardens in Arizona

Visiting a garden in June or July in Phoenix, Arizona may not seem like a great idea. In fact, it may seem downright crazy, with daytime temperatures hovering around 115-120. But there is a good reason why you want to visit an area garden, and that is – to see what kind of plants do well in the Phoenix area heat. This will give you some great ideas of what plants to use in your own landscaping.

Many of these gardens are open early. With summertime temperatures peaking between 3 pm – 6 pm, the best time to visit is first thing in the morning. You will still want to take plenty of water, and wear sunscreen and a broad-brimmed hat to protect your skin from UV rays.

Thinks in Rhyme

The latest release from Donna Wylie is sure to capture your heart.
Donna writes: Poetry has always been a part of me, like a rhythmic DNA strand. It's as much a part of my being, as are my brown eyes or straight hair. Most of the time, poetry just flows through me, an unconscious inner dialogue. I find verse comes easier than words, and are generally more pleasant to the receiver.
